The Wind Up
Our most formal event of the season. The wind up gives all the ladies of the club the chance to dress their best, and see their Bandits men looking suave in a suit and tie. The evening involves dinner, drinks, dancing and the trophy presentation. It is always a perfect way to end the year, and leaves everyone counting down the days til the next season begins and we can do it all again!
Mad Monday
This one is purely for the Bandits boys. Mad Monday follows the grand final game and gives the boys a chance to unwind, celebrate and have a well-earned beverage...or five. there's always some crazy theme or dress up to add to the fun of the day's celebrations.
Race Day
As most of the members are avid fans of not only softball, but all sports, Bandits organises a race day at Belmont Racecourse. The day starts at the Club, with all the boys putting away their black and white uniforms and putting on their black and white suits instead. A bus then takes them to the racecourse for a day of enough fun to rival Flemington's Melbourne Cup.
End of Season Trip
This is an annual tradition for all the teams to head away for the weekend once the season finishes. The weekend's antics are for the teams' eyes only, but they always come back with plenty of funny stories to tell if you ask nicely and can keep a secret.
Bandits Tournament
To give everyone a taste of what the new season has to offer, Bandits host a tournament at our home ground prior to the season's commencement. The tournament was a huge hit in 2014 with all the teams playing impressive, good-spirited softball, and the majority of teams staying on at the Club for post-tournament festivities.
